i have an intermitant smoking problem when it starts the engine tone changes sounds induction in origin i suspect it is an egr fault and have tried to blank off egr but it brouhgt on service light plus egr malfunction

I am unable to access the boot. The button on the tailgate under the handle clicks but does not unlock the boot.
