my clutch judders from stationary,is this normal? it can be a bit embarrassing especially at traffic lights when you are about to set off and it judders and if you dont get the biting point right you think you are going to stall the car...any tips please..its done 57k miles,is there a such thing as a clutch test i can do...thanks..

I am afraid it needs a clutch, and possible flywheel, it's not a dual mass type, but they did have surface area problems.

the car is still under warranty, would this cover it or would the garage say that they wouldnt fix it under warranty until the clutch goes completely...

possible clutch fault... did this happen over time or straight away? could also be faulty engine /gearbox mountings. Flywheels are reccesed, so if distorted replacement is required. Either way, the gearbox has to come out for correct diagnosis..
