Service light?

just recently bought a 55 plate zafira,just getting to learn a few things.my spanner light came on.on the way home..after i got home i swiched the engine off,then on again and then went back out in the car.the light hasnt come back on..is this anything to worry about?..secondly i wanted to change the spark plugs so took them out and noticed they had two electrodes,on taking the new plugs out of the boxes which i bought there are 4 electrodes so i fitted them...will they be ok ? or do i need to buy some with 2 electrodes on them?

The spanner is an engine management light, every time it detects what it classes as a problem the light will come on,This leaves a fault code engraved on the memory. You need a garage with a fault code reader to know what the problem is. I used to own a Vectra CDX and the light came on often with problems like idle engine speed to engine breather pipe blocked, I Never did nothing to car apart from clear the code memory. Don't know about your spark plugs

Spark plugs you have bought are modified type..

As long as the length were the same, you'll be ok.
