Fuel Tank Problems

Car Owner Fuel Tank Problems
I have a Renault Clio 2014. when I try to put in fuel the browers will give me $0.02 worth and clicks off. I believe the plate to stop overfilling is too deep for the pump to push it open. What can I do.
