2013 Audi Q3 fuel guage get stock half way

The fuel gauge get stock half way and stop working. When I refill full tank it works until it gets in the middle and stop working again even if it's out of diesel.
I went to the garage they took the parts out ( pump) clean it and put it back but same problem.

Probably need a new fuel pump / sender unit

I think just the sender unit need replacing the pump it's working fine.

how about the fuel gauge sender?

Fuel tank / sender unit is USUALLY the cause in most cars
