Mitsubishi Pajero Problems

ONGAS CONVERTER STARTED LEAKING SO NOW RUNING IT ON PETROL AND KEEPS OVERHEATING STRAIGHT AWAY WOULD I NEED TO REPLACE THERMOSTAT OR RAIDIATOR CAP?

I have noticed theres a slight squealing noise when first accelerating after the pajero has standing overnight. But stops after a few minutes. Any ideas? Thanx
