2015 Citroen C3 using a lot of oil

I have a similar problem 60k miles, using a lot of oil. engine light is coming on. Garage diagnostics say it is the cat. Quoted £400 but thinking it will only last a short time if it's burning oil.

You are correct , will ruin the cat unless fixed
