2002 Vauxhall Vectra loss of oil

driving along was doing 60 mph.heard a pop all lights came on.lost all the oil from under the front of engine.got recovery.any one with any ideas.

Case of getting under car and seeing where oil has been leaking from . Could have hit something and caused damage to sump or oil filter leaking etc .Or engine fault and oil being burnt / blown out .

hi,poss oil pressure releif valve,you need an oil pressure gauge connected and the pressure checked

you need to get underneath the car and see where the oil is leaking from,if you have damaged something underneath and lost all the oil at such high speed its possible you could have done some major engine damage,
