Vauxhall Zafira Problems

when driving acceleration is jerky below 40 mph more noticeable when power reduced and then re applied feels like the car is not firing on all all 4. replaced the spark plugs above 40 mph car is fine. management light not on.

fuel gauge was working fine until i hit a fly on dashboard and from 3/4 full my gauge suddenly showed empty and since it happened yesterday it has been fluctuating from 3/4 to empty and back again.

Am now on my third starter motor and not even 45,000 on the clock ! However since my last starter motor ....car going along at 60 and flashed engine management light so lost all power and died, hairy I can tell you on a dual carriageway.......

went through water, got swamped by a truck and cut out ,got car towed home and let dry out overnight, used easy start to start next day, after starting blew loads of white smoke out ,then cleared and ran ok no smoke ,no loss of power no oil...
