2001 Vauxhall Zafira heater noisy when on position 3&4

have just bought a zafira 1.6 club 2001 and when the heater is turned on it is fine until it is turned up to 3 & 4,then a noise starts like a motor sound.is this serious?

3 screws in bottom of fan drop it out clean out leaves etc replace
