2001 Vauxhall Zafira acceleration jerks below 40 mph

when driving acceleration is jerky below 40 mph more noticeable when power reduced and then re applied feels like the car is not firing on all all 4. replaced the spark plugs above 40 mph car is fine. management light not on.

just had a diagnostic check done and its the egr valve
