Vauxhall ADAM engine cooling fan on all the time
Variant: Rocks Air 1.2
Model Year: 2015
Just bought this car and after using the Aircon 3 days ago, the engine cooling fan has been activated most of the time, when car should not be too hot.

Thanks for replying. Yes, it has been coming on since I switched the air con off. Had car for 10 days. First few days very hot weather, no fan coming on, next two days decided to try the air con. Then switched air con off and last couple of days, with colderweather, fan has been coming on most of the time, even in the rain and at higher speed on dual carriageway.

Check coolant level is ok . The fan should cut in and out as needed and on higher speed with air con. If you think it's coming on too often it may be a faulty coolant fan sensor which is a cheap part , easily replaced if needed

Hopefully it's just a sensor that's needed if anything but keep an eye on coolant level and for any signs of overheating to be safe
