Car fan constantly running even when engine only on for 10 seconds and then switched off.Been in and out garage and problem still there.Now it's coming up engine too hot.There is coolant in it.

Sounds like possibly a faulty sensor ?

If not the sensor then wiring.
First thing I'd do is check the temperature in live data on a scanner,
This will be the temp the ECU "sees".
