2011 MODUS START OK THEN NEXT TIME START REV TO 2000 AND THEN FAULT

Having had the car in reverse gear, sometimes when changing into first and second gear it feels as if the linkages are jamming up and I have to force gear lever into neutral. Then it will be ok till the next time it happens

Sometimes having driven in reverse, when then trying to change to first and second gear the gear lever has to be forced into neutral and then all is ok. It only happens every now and then. Feels like the selector rods are jamming together. ...

Poor gearchange

when changing 1st to 2nd gear bear linkage seems to jam up and I have to force gear stick to get it out of gear and into neutral before selecting 2nd gear . Its as if it is jammed in gear.
