2009 Renault Modus rear fog light will not go out

The rear fog light just came on and will not go out even with ignition key removed and car locked

Assuming no bulbs have been replaced . Try working the switch a few times to clear it . If not that , need to check the fog lamp circuit panel and contacts .

Thank you for your reply.
Same bulb installed, is on all the time so for now removed it.
Will check circuit panel and contacts tomorrow.

Tried the switch several times. Didn't help unfortunately

Should be a 382 bulb single filament bulb,
