Peugeot 108 klaxon like alarm while driving

I recently purchased a 108 1.2 Allure and have several times experienced a very LOUD klaxon-like alarm in the car when driving. There seems to be no reason for this (no cars nearby, good road conditions)and I have not seen any warning lights on the dashboard. It is not the lane departure warning which is a quiet bleep. My Peugeot dealership doesn't know what it is. I am now very nervous driving the car as I never know when it is going to happen. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
