2022 MG ZS clutch issues on 1.5 diesel mg zs 2022

I bought my ZS 1.5 Diesel in April 2022. It has 13,000 miles on the clock and the clutch has just went on it tonight. There was a burning smell and I had to be towed off a very busy road, after not being able to get it in to gear at all and the clutch pedal stiffening up.

Just after I was towed off the road, I was able to get it in to gear, so I’m not exactly sure what’s going on, but it doesn’t seem right.

Going to see how I get on with a warranty claim. I see the clutch is covered for up to 2 years/30k miles, but I’m not getting my hopes up, looking at the experience of others.

I would agree with the views of others here, that this is the worst car I’ve ever purchased. Nice to look at, but so bad to drive and comes with so many niggles. Never again!!
