MG Problems

Just had to have the engine replaced on my MG ZS luckily they accepted to carry out the works under warranty. Was given no courtesy car by dealer and MG refused to provide a temporary hire car.

Yes, front seat passenger door and back seat doors will not open. So I the driver have to walk round and open it. Does the car need to be switched off for my passengers to open their doors? It's very frustrating or am I missing a trick?
