MG MG3 stuttering under mild acceleration at low rpm

Sometimes when gently accelerating (usually at low rpm/high gear ratio) and taking off from a stop, there is a stutter or misfire, like a sudden loss of power like flipping the ignition on and off. It can happen 2-3 times in a row or just once and dosent happen at higher rpm or harder acceleration. I also run 98 octane fuel and from several outlets too. 250-300km per fill cycle. It won't do this while idling or when stopped in gear/brakes applied.
