2022 MG ZS no acceleration

Car gone slower. No proper acceleration. Been like this for 2 week now. Garage said its probably the clutch will this be right? At forst they said it was settings dont want to wadte anymore money.

If the clutch is slipping , the engine revs up when changing gears , on hills , when engine loaded and little response till it bites .Any decent mechanic should be able to tell with a short road test if clutch or not . Is your car not still under warranty ?

Thank you they havent tested it just said its the clutch said its bot fully gone yet. Ive just missed out on warrinty i missed takibg it in for a service so apparently ive lost all warrinty ? dont want to be ripped off. Do you have an idea how much roughly i should be payu g for a new clutch

Sorry I cant cant help you with the price , all I've heard of with faulty / clutches on that car were subjected to warranty claims . Really case of phoning around for quotes
