Engine light suddenly came on and display panel came up as Stop/Start unavailable could this be down to low Ad Blue level ( I wason way back from just having purchased AD Blue aware it was due. Was told to top up at 4000 miles at time milage is 4018. read in the manual that this can be reduced however dependant on style of driving. could this be the issue ( was it out of Ad Blue as i poured approx 14 Litre in tank on way home ) When i started the engine again. the engine light did not come on until about 1/2 mile down the road.

More common cause is a low battery , often due to lack of use and / or short journeys . often a good run or charge of battery cures the fault
