1996 Vauxhall Agila em light hard to start when hot

can any one pleaqse help, after driving for about an hour e/m light comes on,when stopp ing for about ten minutes car starts but turns over for a while before starting , car starts fine when cold ,is this a major problem and costly to fix,thanks for any help.

get the ecu codes read this tells you why the light came on and oftern a simple component change will fix or at least wot to look at to fix
