2000 Vauxhall Vectra engine management light

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 2000
Variant: 2.2ls dti
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
my car is 2.2dti,when i start the car it runs until engine is warm (90 on temp gauge)enough to trigger the fan on the radiator and engine management light shows up and then engine cuts off.when the engine is still hot/warm it does not start because engine management light does not dissappear, when engine is cold it starts.

i cant be sure but i would say the engine managment temp sender is faulty but do have it checked first this is sending the wrong signal back to the ecu
