Citroen C3 c3 picasso crunching when going into 2nd gear

Variant: 1.6hdi
Model Year: 2011

As the title suggests, my 2011 1.6hdi C3 Picasso when I go to select 2nd gear there is sometimes a crunch especially if I try to change the gear fairly quickly. If I change gear really slowly it doesn’t happen. Any suggestions please ? Thanks in anticipation

Usually caused by worn 2nd gear synchromesh
