2011 Kia Rio gear crunch in 3rd gear

Hi I have gear crunch in 3rd gear but if I do slow goes in sometime without crunch when I'm driving at 60 the revs are about 3000rpm seems bit much could this possibly be clutch packing in and not ingaging proper drives fine but one time I thought it slip apart from.that rune good could this be something other than clutch or do I need new one would this cause gear to crunch thanks for any help

If it was the clutch you would normally get all gears crunching . Could be 3rd gear synchro worn . But if clutch worn and slipping it certainly wont help .

You could try double in the clutch. But it does take a bit of getting used to.
