The exhaust emissions light has stay on since having a whole new exhaust fixed a couple of months ago.But just lately the car has been doing this while driving the battery and oil light have come on and the steering wheel has locked not funny when you are just coming to a bend in the rd,try to brake end up having to quickly change gears putting handbrake on.After I come to a stop I start car the exhaust emission ligth still stays on but if I try to go above 40mph it starts to flash,so I slowly take my foot of accelerator until the indicator stops flashing.So is there anyone out there could help me .Thanks for reading this.I hope someone can.

Get the car scanned to see what fault codes are logged and go from there.

The only way to resolve this is to put the vehicle in to a Vauxhall Main Dealer and get them to put it up on the test rig. 9 times out of 10 they come up with the right answer simply because it could be all manner of things. If my car keeps playing up I will be taking the same course of action. Have tried smaller garages and they seem to be lost. It may cost a few pounds but possibly cheaper in the long run.
