Vauxhall Crossland X handbrake button

The button has popped out of the handbrake leaving it dangerous. From what i have seen it's a very common issue with the crossland x. Replacement buttons online all seem to be for the mokka version handbrake which is very similar but the replacement buttons won't work on the crossland. I've tried 3 and all of them stick when pressed in so the handbrake won't lock again.
Only solution I can find is a new handbrake at £120 on sale plus the costs to shop and fit it.
