2009 Renault Koleos handbrake not working after pulling release handle in the boot after brakes stuck on.

Brakes were jammed on had to pull the release handle in the boot. Released the brakes but now the handbrake won’t work. This is the second time I had to use the release lever.

Really need to get the brakes checked out for brake wear , sticking cables etc. but could check in owners h/book if there is a reset procedure and try that ( assuming it's a electronic h/brake on that car )
