2016 Vauxhall Astra gear selection

1st 2nd and reverse seem to be getting abit stuck now and again mainly after driving for abit. Clutch seems okay from what a mechanic has said when he drive it but he didn’t feel the issue. I’ve been led to believe it’s the clutch, gear linkage or just not servicing the vehicle in little under a year which I found even more strange. Any advice what to look for or believe it to be if you have had a similar problem.

If not wear on clutch assembly , some had problems with gear shift cables
