2000 Ford Fiesta had to force gear selection, hardly no reverse

i have to really force to change gear on way home. gears really crunch especially reverse gear. can anyone help, is it the clutch or gaerbox. any suggestions how to fix problem.

Sounds Iike the clutch, may be hydraulic failure, check for leaks around gearbox, will be brake fluid.

hello their , i have got a leak right under the gear as you said, i had forgot to say the clutch pedal has no resistance at all, what do you reckon is leaking then, is the clinder slave, is it an easy fix. i have worked on cars before so i am a bit handy. any suggestions would be fantastic, cheers paul

Sounds like slave cylinder mate, common problem, clutches on Fiesta easy job!
