2019 Vauxhall ADAM engine shuddering when idol

When car engine is running but is idol for example in traffic or at lights for longer than a few minutes the engine begins to shudder and service warning light appears. However, if I tap the accelerator, the car seems to run normally again until I move off. If I were to allow the car to do this for too long without accelerating or switching the engine off while I wait, the engine does begin to overheat until I then move off again.

All cars tend to run a bit hotter in traffic jams until reaching a certain temp and then the engine cooling fan cuts in to cool .Check . clean or replace MAF sensor , check / replace plugs if needed
