2004 Skoda Octavia unable to put car into gear.

Cant put car into drive mode and it only moves on reverse when pressing gas , tried replacing the gearbox oil yet still same ,old oil was completely burned

Probably gearbox gone if ATF as bad as you describe and needs new box if viable option
