1997 Rover 600 Problems

New car to me Monday. key shop next door cut and programmed second key for me and now alarm goes off for no reason every 5 mins when car is locked. Have read warning above but this is a genuine enquiry form a private motorist

engine cut out will notstart new distributor fitted engine turns over willnotstart the car has been locked using the key and not the handset for 2years there are no problems with petrol getting to engine
