2004 Renault Scenic no power to the dash so can not start the car

first started with a steering fault on dash,the car was starting ok and then when i took of the battery to charge it and put it back on it started ok but the next day i opened the door there was no power to the dash so can not start the car

You checked your battery voltage in case a dud battery , battery terminals ?
