Renault Scenic Problems

flashed up stop engine failure hazard then went of drove ok into work esc came on twice whilst going into work when i finished and tried starting it just get a electrical click with no crank or starter motor trying to turn over came up with...

it shows service light for service, i serviced and after service the service light wont reset of go off

first started with a steering fault on dash,the car was starting ok and then when i took of the battery to charge it and put it back on it started ok but the next day i opened the door there was no power to the dash so can not start the car

The diagnostic showed fault code 17g - exchange flow selenoid valve. What does this mean and what would the solution or fix be?

The car will reverse but it won't engage forward gear when in drive.
