2003 Renault Clio turns over but wont start

Clio 1.5 diesel, Change of engine, changed timing belt correctly, engine was a good runner, cleaned tdc back in place engine turns over but just won’t star can anyone help please

Could be anything with a second hand engine . Getting fuel up , tried spraying easy start into intake ?

Thank you for the reply my friend not long came round to help loosened fuel pipes to injectors I knew fuel was there turning over but not starting a very quick spray of easy start and fired up and running ok
I’m totally baffled as to why ???????? but it’s working now beyond my thinking

Good you got it running , using easy start kinda primes / clears air out of fuel system when it starts up . Thanks for update
