2004 Renault Clio starts fine then won't restart after a run

Car: Renault Clio
Year: 2004
Variant: 1.5
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Some help needed please. My grandparents renault Clio 1.5 diesel is playing up. The car starts fine after being parked for long hours. Be they can drive 15 miles to a super market do their shopping come out then the car won't start but turns over. But can be started on easy start. This is the 3rd this has happened now. 1st Breakdown guy said it was glow plugs so they had them done. 2nd breakdown guy said it was poor contact in the 2 plugs on fuel pump (green and black) so they had that done. The 3rd time was today it took 20 mins to start and they used easy start. He has now parked it in the garage now till tomorrow where he is certain it will start tomorrow morning fine.
Has anyone come across this before or have any ideas as what the issue is please

Needs scanned.
Specifically when it's hot and checking the live data for fuel rail pressure.
Stay away from the gut who said glow plugs,
these engines don't really use them fro cold starting unless it's minus 14 degrees.
If it's starting with easy start it's not really busted.
So as stated check the rail pressure and the coolant temperature sensor reading on the scanner.

Renault Can Clip would be best.
But any of the better scanners would read it.
