2010 Peugeot 308 in limp mode and garage says esp asr lights on plus anti pollution light,

for about 2 months very occasionaly the car went into limp mpde with anti pollution light on. always was fine when restarted engine. when on a motorway was always fine.
have had 3 injectors cleaned.
problem happened again 2 weeks ago. garage now have it (rac breakdown couldnt find a fault). they have replaced accelerator pedal. they are saying the esp/asr light and anti pollution lights are on. they are now checking the wiring. please any advice welcome

Get a garage with the correct , full Peugeot diagnostic equipment to scan car for fault / stored codes rather than guess and maybe fit parts not needed or solving the problem . Looks like it may be an anti pollution related fault that is at the root of the cause . Assume they have already changed the fuel filter also

Get the exhaust solenoid replaced. It is at left hand side at front of the engine. You may need to replace battery as well along with the exhaust solenoid. Batterty is not the real issue but may trigger, it is exhaust solenoid to be replaced. It is cheap and you can replace it yourself as well. Also use a good quality PSA 5/30 engine oil.

It must be P0013 fault code for this.

Please stop posting rubbish . He does not have the fault code you keep pushing . And as for " You may need to replace battery as well along with the exhaust solenoid. Batterty is not the real issue but may trigger " Total rubbish and nothing what so ever to do with the problem .

Common enough problem with a few parts could be at fault , EGR or DPF being the most common, these will need cleaned or replaced and someone good at a software update or re map would solve this issue
