Was driving my astra today when the service soon light came on and the. Car has now gone into limp mode have left car at mates garage and he's going to run a diagnostic cheak tomorrow will this find the problem ?

Could reset ,
Reset Oil Service Light on 2010-2019 Opel Vauxhall Astra:
Scroll up and select “REMAINING OIL LIFE” by using the thumbwheel.
Press the SET/CLR button.
Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
