Car starts up but engine fault is displayed. moves off but sometimes cuts out.
Liquid noise sometime can be heard from engine, not sure if this related. Garage has said it could be the injector and will cost £500-1000 to fix.

Your garage should carry out a diagnostic scan with suitable equipment that covers your car ( if they have any ) for fault codes rather than guessing and possibly wasting your money on parts not needed . Faulty injectors will show fault codes . Check your coolant level as liquid noise you hear could be the coolant system pressurising for whatever reason . Engine cutting out could be caused by a lot simpler / cheaper defects as suggested . Might be better to get a second opinion elsewhere ?
