2011 Citroen Berlingo will not start , engine fault shows up on screen

When I try to start the engine just turns over a few times then stops, the wipers give one sweep, the gauges jump, the the message appears in the radio screen saying engine fault repair needed.

Tried that, nothing,I am thinking that the ecu may be locked out as I have been having and issues

check status of battery..sounds like its had its day
