2000 Peugeot 206 accelator

hve pblem wd the accelator whenever i start the car at morning time.accelator would be stick and come back slowly whn i push by foot.and 15-20min after starting ,i found tht the pblm has reduced t0 70%.the main pblm occurs whn i change the gear to other.i hve to wait bfor changing the gear tht accelator has got there place or not. may be the greasing pblm to accelator wire .but i hve to know the pblm bfor i hve gone to garage...
