2005 Mitsubishi L200 engine management light truck losing power

Car: Mitsubishi L200
Year: 2005
Variant: TITAN
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power LossElectrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
When driving on a short journey the engine management light will come on and the truck loses all power, have to switch off and restart and then continue journey, ERG valve has all-ready been capped off, diagnostics showed a power sensor fault changed both of those and the problem is still happening.

You changed the fuel filter ? If the engine management light is on , there must be a stored fault code that can be retrieved

The fuel filter on any vehicles can cause various problems if not changed as per recommended mileage / age and can become partially blocked or contaminated , possibly draw air etc . Hope it cures your fault , but wont go wrong changing it anyway
