2021 MG ZS clutch

Having exact same issue. Pouring with rain and screen in car turned off then later that day clutch just wouldn't engage. After leaving car turned off for an hour it worked again started driving home and stopped engaging again waited another hour it worked again to get it home. MG have a wait list of 3 weeks because of back logs and won't issue courtesy car. Does anyone have a resolution. What happened to yours? Was it a fight to get it covered under the manufacturers warranty? Mine is a car lease but nobody seems to be helping me right now the hire company or the dealership and because I'm a female I worry their just going to cause more issues
