2015 Peugeot 108 clutch issue

have a Blue Peugeot 108, which has done 57,000 miles. I noticed on my way home to my parents house. (90 mile journey) that my clutch had become really hard to press down, got me really worried but after some careful driving got home ok, on my journey back however the clutch was completly fine. What could have been the cause? Seems odd that the issue isnt there now.

I believe some of them had cable operated clutches and that could be where your problem lies . If not it could be internal fault with clutch bearing / clutch assembly but if cable , worth checking that first
