2016 Hyundai ix20 grating noises as driving, temerature light on and battery warning light

intermittent grating or whirring type noises. Sometimes happening when engine is cold but can also happen when in the middle of a journey. It sounds like something is rubbing against something else. Sometimes happens when changing gear but not always. The battery warning light has started to come on as well as the temperature light coming on and off.

Without hearing the noise and knowing where it's coming from , impossible to say . It could be coming from engine , brakes or clutch bearing to name a few .Battery warning light , needs battery and alternator both LOAD tested . Coolant level needs checked , as does engine coolant fan operation . But could also be a faulty sensor .
