After reading Dave May's superb Feb 6th 2020 Post in the Ford Mondeo/Vignale Club , I was able to repair the solenoid (even though I have the shakes from MS) but very stupidly because I left it for over a period of several weeks without taking any photos I have forgotten one of the steps on rebuild and now have an alarm when putting it into gear from park(yes it's no longer stuck in park) , can anybody help with this very annoying problem .
