I have had a Mondeo and two Kuga 1 and all three suffer from deformation of rear tyres
On each occasion the tyres have been found to have flat spots. When driving it sounds like wheel bearings. Initially i had the hub changed on the Kuga and no difference. Changed the tyre and problem gone for a few thousand miles.
