You checked with the sidelights on ? checked bulb ?

Hello and thanks, yes have checked with side lights on but still does not come on, its says in manual should come on every time boot door is opened. I have looked in the manual to see how to change it, but I am a bit confused has it does not say how to get bulb cover off? and if and when I do get to the bulb, how do I check it? many thanks.

Years since I've worked on one of those vehicles but if memory serves me right the lens and lamp are all the one assembly and just lever out and spring / push back in again .

You can usually see a broken filament on the bulb if gone .

Yes thanks I managed to get cover off and found the problem, no bulb, will get a new one and hope it is nothing else. thank you.
