2007 Ford KA i've changed, the pump,thermostat, no bit,s of muck in the water, or rust, has new head gasket, 4 weeks before i got the car, could it be an air lock, or the head blocked,, there is a bubbling sound coming from the head..r

I've had the car 6 weeks, done 68miles, drove 40 miles home warning rad light did not come on,but was boiling from filler cap, thought rad fan switch broke, new one fitted, working well, drove 12 miles, got hot fan working,
Steam out of rad cap. Change,d thermostat flushed out water way,s ,clean,no muck or rust bit,s ,???
Only thing left, head water ways blocked,but had new gasket, gasket fitted wrong,! Drove 40miles home, tho, maybe air lock,, don't really want to take head off.
Just to add, I took out thermostat to see if that was trouble,no over heated in 4 miles, no leak of oil in water .
No loss of power at all.

Depends where head / gasket goes whether it mixes with oil or not . Carry out a block test to check head and basket . Head should have been pressure tested and skimmed if needed when gasket fitted

The problem got worse the more miles done,first 40' miles ok,
Then it got hot, if the head gasket was at fault id not have got home , and took for test drive 6 miles all good.
If gasket was fitted wrong that would have been there at the test drive, ? Ps,no water in oil,or oil in water.

Head gasket leaking could pressurise cooling system causing air lock , blow out the exhaust instead of mixing with oil , if only slight at moment would take time / miles to build up
